Steve is a respected authority on Interactive Marketing – specifically in applying new media and emerging technology to measurably increase brand awareness, engage buyers, and drive sales for real estate and hospitality clients. His team at Xeputu has provided Direct Marketing strategy, execution and tracking to more than 20 high-end fractional, Residential and Private Residence Club projects since 1998 – including Lighhouse Bay Resort, Capella Pedregal, Calistoga Ranch, The Phillips Club, Palazzo Tornabuoni, Emirates Vacation Club, and Mesa del Sol. Steve’s early career included management positions at Deer Valley Resort and the prestigious Stein Eriksen Lodge, where his team earned the AAA Five Diamond Award – a first for the state of Utah. Later as an executive at SKI-WEST, he was part of the team that increased the size of the company to almost fifty employees by 100% over a twelve month period. He subsequently became a senior director at digital marketing agency GCommerce, where he launched a real estate marketing division and developed innovative new campaign tracking methodologies. Steve then served two years as Vice President of Interactive Marketing for leading direct marketing firm, Aerios Direct where he developed cross-channel marketing strategies for several national accounts. At Xeputu, Steve oversees multi-disciplinary marketing campaigns – whose tactics commonly include Search Engine Optimization, Paid Search, Repeat-Traffic Systems, Online Media Buying, Social Media, and Email Marketing. He frequently speaks on campaign analytics and the integration of online and offline marketing techniques.
Tim's marketing career began dedicated to Search Engine Optimization. He ultimately built and led one of the first internal Search Marketing Divisions at a medium size agency where he developed a cutting edge search strategy grounded in traditional marketing principles without outsourcing any of the work. Tim created a team of innovative thinkers who provided clients with the highest level of service and innovation while eliminating the additional cost of traditional agency markup. The result has been an unparalleled approach to revenue generation through Search Marketing. With the Search division firmly in place, Tim spearheaded a new division of the same company focused on expanding the reach of clients to drive new revenue for hotels across Italy. In addition, he was responsible for managing the in-country team and partnerships. In 2010 the entrepreneurial spirit struck and Tim opened Xeputu, an internet solutions company focusing on website design, development and marketing. Tim holds a BA degree in Information Sciences and Technology from Pennsylvania State University. When he is in Salt Lake City, Tim enjoys bicycling, dining out, and is the office authority on all that is The Dave Matthews Band.
Stella is our director of "keeping priorities straight". Every day it is her responsibility to remind us that life is too short not to go play in the yard. Stella joined our team in March of 2011 as a sales assistant (because no one could resist how cute she was as a puppy) and quickly rose through the ranks to, well pretty much run the show. While her motivations are sometimes questionable, her energy is undeniable. Stella has the cleanest HR file on the executive team because, well it's just hard to discipline the only employee that gets their job right 100% of the time.
